Glowing Landscape, 80x80 cm., Digital painting printed on cotton surface fine art.
An exhibition entitled "Signs of Dreams" is presented by the artist Babis Pylarinos at his Atelier at 11 Metropolis Square, in Athens of Greece from the 14th to the 28th of May.
..."Babis Pylarinos leads us to the invisible world of the unconscious, through dreams: Dreams that we saw but, when we woke up we had forgotten them and they were lost in the noise of everyday life."
It is a collection of paintings inspired by the dreams we narrate to the psychoanalyst to shed light on the dark room of ourselves.
"Signs" in the language of the New Testament means miracles.
Babis Pylarinos leads us to the invisible world of the unconscious, through dreams: Dreams that we saw but, when we woke up we had forgotten them and they were lost in the noise of everyday life. And then, at some point, they pulled away when we saw something in the real world.
As he states: "...What else is painting than the two-dimensional illustration-" poetry "of the painter's unconscious, which is a wishful work if it is part of our common unconscious? A way to think together about the tragedy of life. An occasion for co-movement and society ".
The works have been painted digitally, on a computer with a pen, where, with a pencil instead of a brush, the result of the movement is captured on the screen. On the occasion of each work, the poet Noni Stamatelou is inspired and writes a short poem or a poem that accompanies it. An exception is the work "My father is a doctor" which did the opposite, the poem was the reason for the creation of the painting.
