"....The exhibition is a collection of landscapes completed over the last 16 years. The works range from 10' x 5' to 6' x 6'. The horizon line has always represented to me, great hope. I see it as a place where Divinity and Humanity marry. The sky is 100% Divinity and the earth is 100% human. I have found solace and peace whenever I stand on a precipice looking towards the horizon. The play of light through the clouds, peeking through the darkness reflects on the ocean, the land, the path and illumines the way. The works deal with the notion of "above and below", of the fields as in the Potter's Field, the place of Mt Ararat and Noah's Arc and God's Promise...the Landscapes are a stage to share in God's story."
These works will be exhibited, FIRST THURSDAY, March 3rd. 2022, 6-9pm, at LOFT2 2ND FLOOR Gallery and Studios, 401 South Mesa, San Pedro, California.
