"New Witnesses. a march to Freedom" Iconography Exhibition

A group art exhibition organised by the Mount Athos Center (Agioritiki Estia in Thessaloniki, Greece).

The Mountain Estia of Thessaloniki, in cooperation with the Holy Metropolis of Veria, Naoussa and Campania, in the context of the Pavleia 2022 events and the cultural entity "Ekkokkisteroi of Ideas", present the team at the exhibition area of the Ekkokkisterio an art exhibition entitled "New Martyrs. March to Freedom " The opening will take place on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 20:30.

“...The exhibition is accompanied by the titled list, which, in addition to the works of the report, contains the harbors of the presented new martyrs as well as a text of Archimandrite Basil Iberite, predecessor of the Holy Monastery of Iberian.”

The exhibition debuted at the Highlands Estia in Thessaloniki in the summer of 2021 and was part of the organization's action program for the anniversary year 2021-200 years since the Revolution of 1821. During the opening ceremony, His Eminence Metropolitan of Veria, Naousis and Campania will address a greeting. Panteleimon, Giannis Nazlidis, Director of the company "Education of Ideas", Director of the Agiooretic Estia, Mr. Anastasios Douros, followed by a short speech by the abbot of the Holy Monastery of Timios Prodromos-Skitis Veria, Archimandrite Porfyou entitled "Myro of New Martyrs".
