"Saint Paisios, From Farasa to Heaven" the New TV Series dedicated to the life of Agios Paisios
The life of Agios Paisios became a TV series and aspires to bring to our homes the most important moments of Agios Pais from the moment he was born, until his sleep.

After the tremendous success of the film "The Man of God" by Jelena Popovic on the life of St. Nektarios, another ambitious project is coming - on the small screen this time.
..."The first cycle that has already been completed concerns the course of the Saint until the moment he entered Mount Athos."
The new series "Agios Paisios, From Farasa to Ouranos" premieres on Mega Channel in Greece at the moment, but we'd like to believe it will soon have subtitles and a global release.
The screenplay is by George Tsiakkas, directed by Stamos Tsamis, produced by the Agios Maximos Graikos Institute and produced by Green Olive. The series tries to approach the huge spiritual size of Agios Paisios.
The first cycle that has already been completed concerns the course of the Saint until the moment he entered Mount Athos. From Farasa of Cappadocia to Athens, Konitsa and other places which are related to the life of the Saint, the journey will be long and very moving. A man of our time who with his solitary practice and the sacrificial love he showed to his fellow human beings, reached the Deification and today is honored as a saint of our church. In the first cycle we follow the life of the Saint and his family, from his birth to the solitary Monk's life where he takes the name Paisios.
In the first video-trailer of the series that has just been released, the scenes testify to an all-night atmosphere in a production that seems to have given a great basis to its outdoor shootings which took place in places where Agios Paisios lived, such as Konitsa and Mount Athos. but also in the cast of actors. Smaragda Smyrnaiou, Dimitris Imellos, Giorgos Armenis, Giannis Stankoglou, Nikitas Tsakiroglou and Dimitris Xanthopoulos star in the series, among others, with Paisios Exarchos taking on the role of Arsenios Eznepidis.
